Cuban food stand C Señor now open in Bishop Arts

c senor el padrino

The new Cuban restaurant from Hattie’s owner Tony Alvarez opened this past weekend in the Bishop Arts District.

C Señor serves Cuban sandwiches and coffee out of the former El Padrino taco stand.

The menu is simple: four sandwiches, a burger, sides of Cuban rice and beans, fried yucca and plantains, plus espresso and café con leche. There also are plans to serve taco versions of the sandwiches.

Here is a pic of the menu:

There are a few concrete tables with benches, but it’s just a window. No inside seating.

    Is there anywhere to sit?

Hey Rachel. Any luck with the hours? I’ve driven by twice but both times the window things were shut. Is it really open? Maybe they just did a preview or something.

Needing the hours as well! Sounds great!

I will try to find out. Thanks!

Does anyone know the opening hours? I swung by twice — Sunday at dinner and Monday at lunch — and it was closed both times.

    Good luck Tony!
