Do you have old photos of Lake Cliff Park? Would your neighborhood association, business or nonprofit like to have a free both at the Lake Cliff Park centennial celebration Sept. 20?

If so, the event’s organizers want to hear from you.

Register for a booth by Aug. 20 at no cost. After that, it costs $20.

Planned events and activities include a vintage car show, a bike ride, an outdoor screening of “Meet me in St. Luis,” music, food and face painting.

Organizers also are putting together a visual history of the park, and they’ve come up with some amazing old images. But they would like to find more. If you have a picture of the “pineapple fountain,” like the one at the top of this post, or any other images of the park from 1980 or earlier, send them to Fred Peña for possible inclusion in the exhibit.
