The Houston Street Viaduct is closed to cars during construction of the Oak Cliff streetcar, but it’s open to pedestrians and bikes.
Workers constructing the tracks uncovered the bridge’s original brick paving from 1912.
The streetcar is expected to open as early as this coming March. The bridge could open to car traffic as soon as February.
