The Hampton Illinois Library launched a Lego club with $1,000 from the Old Oak Cliff Conservation League and the Hampton Illinois Library Friends.

The grants allowed the library to purchase the blocks, and Stan Aten of the library friends group reports that about 70 children attended the first meeting in October. The club already is so successful that they need more Legos.

Donate gently used Legos to the library, 2951 S. Hampton. Or contact the library friends to donate cash.
