A relay of elite high school runners competes against the top MetroPCS Dallas Marathon athletes every year in an effort to beat them and take part of their prize money.

Bishop Dunne Catholic School senior Mayleen Cantu is one of the 16 high school athletes competing in the marathon challenge this coming Sunday.

This is the fourth year for the relay challenge. If the top marathon winner can beat the relay team, he or she wins a $1,500 bonus.
