Husband-and-wife business partners Jennifer and Adam Littke moved to Winnetka Heights this past August, and their concept, Set & Co., is their first venture into retail.

Jennifer Littke is an interior designer who has worked for big-ticket clients in New York and Los Angeles. Adam Littke works in advertising as a producer of commercials and music videos.

“So I do all the branding and marketing, and she does the design,” he says.

The store will carry items for “home, kitchen, pantry and table,” and will “celebrate the modern craftsman” by carrying handmade products.

They’re shooting for a May opening, and they would like to offer workshops eventually.

There are other home goods stores in Oak Cliff, but this one will focus on more utilitarian items, Adam Littke says. The couple lived in London for awhile, and they’re influenced by classic English style.

They’ve been traveling on buying trips finding inventory for the store, Adam says.

The Littkes are from Oklahoma, and they moved to Texas because Adam’s parents live in Dallas, and Jennifer’s parents live in Houston.

“We’ve always loved Oak Cliff, and we thought this would be the perfect place to live and do something like this,” Adam says.
