Interstate 35 in 1966
A plan to reconfigure Interstate 35 between Colorado and Interstate 20 is gaining steam.
The Southern Gateway plan calls for converting HOV lanes to toll lanes and widening the roadway from eight to 10 lanes, among other changes.
The Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce is bringing John Nguyen and Stan Hall, from the Texas Department of Transportation to explain the project to neighbors.
The meeting is from 8-9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26 at the chamber. The event is free, but guests are asked to RSVP.
