The Sour Grapes and friends are bringing their Selena celebration back to Country Burger this month.
Last year’s event drew several hundred people for an art show, car show and Selena impersonation contest, all inside our neighborhood’s own fast-food restaurant/Selena shrine.
This year’s event is from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, March 28, and will be similar to the last one: Faded Deejays spinning, Selena-related art and a Selena look-alike contest. The Texas Theatre also is showing the movie “Selena” on Sunday, March 29, as part of a weekend of Selena events commemorating the 20th anniversary of her death.
