The Bishop Arts Theatre Center’s eight-week summer camp only accepts 50 students, and it has a literacy component thanks to partner Big Thought.
The camp is eight weeks, June 8-July 30, and it runs 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday. It costs $75 per week and includes breakfast, lunch and snacks.
The camp offers four arts clusters: music, art, dance and theater, which are taught by master artists. There is also a life skills cluster, which teaches financial literacy, anti-bullying and etiquette.
The camp open house is at noon Saturday, May 16.
