If you caught Fort Worth-based singer/songwriter sensation Leon Bridges busking in the Bishop Arts District in December, or if you saw his intimate performance at Brass Tacks Barber Shop in November, congratulations.

You can say you knew him when.

Bridges’ demo of original songs performed in the style of 1960s soul greats already has led him on a tour of the United States and Europe, plus he and his band performed on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

Tickets sold out in a flash for his performance at Barefoot at the Belmont this Thursday. And now he is booked to headline the Majestic Theater on Saturday, Nov. 14, to kick off a tour for his debut album on Columbia records, “Coming Home.”

One of my BFFs, Shoshannah Frank of F is for Frank, captured the video clip below of Bridges busking during the Urban Bazaar in Bishop Arts this past December.

Aww, we knew him when.
