The 90-year-old Kessler Park mansion that was set to go to foreclosure auction today has been spared that fate for at least another month.
An attorney for homeowner Ken Row told the Dallas Morning News that Row purposely withheld mortgage payments from Bank of America in an attempt to negotiate a lower interest rate. So the bank foreclosed.
The home, adjacent to the Stevens Park golf course, is now set for the Aug. 4 Dallas County foreclosure auction. The attorney says Row is making back payments now, and he expects the home will make it out of foreclosure.
