Whisk Crêpes Cafe at Sylvan Thirty, opens Tuesday, Oct. 6. The 624-square-foot restaurant, next door to Ten ramen, will seat about 20 diners. Says the Paris-born owner Julien Eelsen, “I hope my cafe will give our customers the chance to experience what it’s like to be in Paris, even if for just a brief, sweet or savory moment.”

Norma’s Cafe raised $1,300 for Operation Kindness during its Dog Days of Summer event last month. Also, two dogs found homes during the event.
