Garden club plants at the V.A. hospital

The Oak Cliff Garden Forum planted 10 flats of pansies at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oak Cliff recently.

The flowers were planted Nov. 10 at the Blue Star Memorial Marker, which honors all men and women that serve in the United States Armed Service. Afterward, garden club members were given a tour of the living wall garden at the hospital’s mental health unit.

The Oak Cliff Garden Forum meets at 10 a.m. on the first Wednesday of every month at the Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center.
