Cyclist injured in hit-and-run near Methodist hospital

A motorist struck and injured a cyclist on Beckley near Colorado Tuesday night before driving away.

The accident happened around 11 p.m., and the cyclist, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police believe the assailant was driving a white vehicle, possibly an SUV, and it likely would have damage to the right front side.
