Teresa Coleman Wash’s nonprofit TeCo Theatrical Productions renovated the Tyler Street building that is now the Bishop Arts Theatre Center in 2008.
The theater hosts a theatrical summer camp, an annual jazz series, a new-play festival and its LGBT spin-off Play Pride, among many other plays and events throughout the year. Next is “Down for the Count,” a festival of new one-act plays from female playwrights. That’s Feb. 25-March 6.
The theater also has a new, more user-friendly website and logo, seen below.
