Man robbed, kidnapped, stabbed on Hampton at Jefferson

A 60-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint around 1 a.m. Wednesday, March 16.

The assault occurred in the 500 block of North Hampton, between Jefferson and Davis, where the victim was sitting in his truck with the engine running.

The robber forced the man to drive to Pleasant Grove, where he demanded the victim pull money from an ATM in the 2200 block of John West. When the victim told the robber he had no ATM card, the robber began stabbing him in the head and face. The victim finally rolled out of the car, and the robber ran over him and dragged him with the truck. The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition, and his truck was found at 4800 Olson.

The robber was described as a Latino male, 25-30 years old, with straight black hair, and his first name might be Richard.
