A couple of stories we posted Wednesday are tied together by this new music video.
Tzom Films and filmmaking brothers Adolfo and Ivan Cantu-Villarreal are featured in our May magazine. The Cantu-Villarreal brothers are fans of Dallas-based rock band Nervous Curtains, and they’ve done a few projects with them before.
But this new video, for “Devastator,” was shot in Oak Cliff, and it features dancers, actors and other talented folks from our neighborhood.
They filmed that video in a Winnetka Heights church that is being given a historic restoration by a group that wants to turn it into a community arts center.
