The Texas Theatre shows “Victor Victoria” Friday for this month’s installment of Cinewilde. “Overboard” shows at 9 p.m. Saturday. And “Francofonia,” a documentary about the history of the Louvre, shows at 5 p.m. Friday-Sunday.
Oak Cliff-based artist Willie Baronet’s film “Signs of Humanity” premieres at the Dallas International Film Festival at 7:30 pm. Friday at City Performance Hall. Baronet has collected more than 1,000 homeless signs over the past 22 years as part of his project, “We Are All Homeless.”
Saturday, April 16, is Record Store Day, and Spinster Records is partying all day. The doors open at 8 a.m., and there’s music from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
A beginner’s bird walk at Twelve Hills Nature Center, led by master birder Shannon Love, starts at 8 a.m. Sunday.
