This weekend: Movie on the lawn, spring block party and more

The Texas Theatre celebrates its 85th anniversary Thursday with old movies and a safecracking.

Oak Cliff-based musician Stefan Gonzalez’s band Orgullo Primitivo recently released a new album, “Textures of Falling Out.” He hosts an album release party and performance from 7-11 p.m. Friday at Spinster Records.
