Few landmarks are more iconic in our neighborhood than the steer atop Charco Broiler on Jefferson Boulevard.

The old-school cafeteria-style steakhouse opened for business in 1964, and it is still owned by the same family. Third-generation owner Nick Cordova  runs the restaurant with his son Brock.
