The most-hated Major League Baseball player in Dallas since Robin Ventura made a reservation for brunch at Bolsa Saturday.
“Save him the best table,” co-owner Chris Jeffers says they were told.
But then Jose Bautista of the Toronto Blue Jays didn’t show up.
The next day, Rougned Odor punched Bautista in the face for recklessly sliding into second, instantly making Odor, 22, a lifetime Rangers fan favorite and the hero of Joey Bats’ haters everywhere.
The Oak Cliff restaurant posted today on Facebook: “That’s what you get for not showing up for your reservation on Saturday, Bautista.”
