The Dallas Police Department says 25-year-old Jose Matilde Reyes is wanted in the shooting of a man at a home off South Hampton Friday night.
The victim of the shooting, who has not been identified, died at the hospital.
Reyes is accused of shooting the man after a fight at a home in the 2400 block of Grafton. The passenger of a black SUV flagged down a Dallas Independent School District police officer in the 1400 block of South Hampton around 11 p.m. Saturday, May 7, and the officer found the driver of the SUV had been shot.
Dallas Fire and Rescue and the police came to the scene, and the SUV passenger showed police a video of the man who shot his companion. He said he didn’t know the shooter’s name, but he brought them to the home where the shooting occurred.
Police found shell casings as well as a cellphone and personal documents belonging to the alleged shooter.
Reyes is about 5-foot-8 and weighs about 230 pounds.
