The Winnetka Heights Neighborhood Association hosts a “Top Chef”-style challenge Saturday at Turner House. Home cooks compete in savory and sweet challenges starting at 7:30 p.m. Daniele and Christina Puleo of Cibo Divino will judge. Tickets cost $50, and the money goes toward sidewalk repair and a security patrol.

The Brew Riot home brewing festival starts with a 1.1 beer run at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The 1.1 costs $40 and includes admission to Brew Riot. The festival is from 4-8 p.m. in Bishop Arts. Buy a $25 membership to the Texas Homebrew Society to taste and vote on the brews. The festival itself is free and includes live music on two stages.

The Foundry’s third-annual crawfish festival is from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $20 and must be purchased online.
