Neighbor Joel Jackson made a poster for a memorial held recently in the Bishop Arts District for the victims of the Orlando mass shooting.
The poster received so much interest that the 19-year-old Townview graduate turned the design into a faux stained-glass piece.
Now the stained glass is hanging at Eno’s, and it will be auctioned off at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 3. All of the proceeds from the sale of the artwork will go to the victims’ fund in Orlando.
Jackson, who attends the University of Houston, is the same person who painted all of the Texas Theatre dressing rooms last year.
