The AT&T Byron Nelson Tournament this past May raised $5.8 million for Oak Cliff-based Momentous Institute, which operates two schools, in Oak Cliff and North Dallas, serving 6,000 students.

The Momentous Institute, operated by the Salesmanship Club of Dallas for 95 years, has a focus on social emotional health and offers therapeutic services to the families it serves. It also invests in research and educator training in an effort to touch the lives of students the school otherwise wouldn’t reach.

The Byron Nelson, which started in Oak Cliff, has raised $149 million for the Momentous Institute since 1968, making it the most successful charitable golf tournament on the PGA tour.
