Oddfellows, Emporium Pie, Lucia, Trompo Taco and Dude, Sweet Chocolate all sent over staff members armed with piles of food to keep the crowd satiated during the two-day protest. Food was passed out directly to the hungry crowds, and also delivered to the 100+ attorneys who spent the weekend locked in a “war room” at the Grand Hyatt fighting for access to represent those affected by the ban while simultaneously finding legal challenges to the tenets of the executive order.
