Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg’s volunteer work in an community garden near the Dallas Zoo this week overshadowed the real reason he’s in Dallas.

Zuckerberg stated on his Facebook page:

“I’m here in Dallas for work, but I’m also taking time to meet members of our Texas community over the next few days as part of my Year of Travel challenge.”

The Zuck is testifying in federal court this week as part of a lawsuit against his company. A subsidiary of the social media giant, Oculus, is accused of stealing virtual reality technology from games publisher ZeniMax.

Aside from his opportunistic charity work, Zuckerberg also met with members of the Dallas Police Department and attended the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
