The City of Dallas is making it easy for anyone with a few bucks to find a new best friend in February.

Dogs and cats are available for adoption from Dallas Animal Services for $14 (plus $7 for a city license), which includes sterilization, microchipping, vaccinations and a health check.

Adopters must bring ID, and if you rent, a copy of a lease stating pets are allowed.

There are 150 dogs and 50 cats ready for homes, plus hundreds of pets available for “pre-adoption.”
