She’ll be joined by Bob Corwin, Mercer’s son-in-law and pianist. Kingsley tells a chronological story to go along with the songs.

That event is Thursday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts Members or $20 otherwise.

The season’s two other salon events include a talk on the history of the 1957 tornado that ripped through Oak Cliff, from historian Mark Doty, on April 20. And on May 18, Barak Epstein of the Texas Theatre gives a preview of the Oak Cliff Film Festival.
