The Friends of Oak Cliff Parks and the Dallas Public Library offer a free lecture from California-based cultural historian Kendall H. Brown at 3 p.m. Sunday at the North Oak Cliff Library. Kendall is an expert on Japanese gardens and will speak on Texas’ gardens, including the one at Kidd Springs Park.
