The festival’s founder, Stacey Roy, says they are looking for a new location, and it’s unclear whether the home-brew competition and festival will stay in Oak Cliff.

Since last May we have worked to strategize growth by looking for a new location. We have fostered relationships with breweries around the state and country. We have even bent the ear of a few state representatives letting them know exactly how their laws are limiting our craft beer industry, and what changes could help our fellow craft brewers stay innovative. But there is still much to do to not only reflect the energy of our community but also be a good steward of how to responsibly grow our industry.

Roy says the next Brew Riot will take place in May 2018.
