A 60-year-old man was found dead in a storm drain near Methodist Dallas Medical Center Sunday morning.

Police responded to a call in the 300 block of East Colorado Boulevard around 8:30 a.m. and found the body of a Latino male. The Dallas Police Department says the man appeared to be homeless and was wearing a hospital bracelet.

They think he climbed into the culvert for shelter, but it’s unclear how he died. There were no signs of serious injury, and DPD reported it as an unexplained death. The man’s name has not been released, pending notification of his family.
