Bike Friendly Oak Cliff hosts the third-annual paletas y bicicletas festival from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at Lake Cliff Park. The event features kids bike giveaways, piñatas, mariachis and luchadores. There also will be a short bike ride, at 3 p.m., from Lake Cliff to another Oak Cliff park.

The Old Oak Cliff Conservation League’s annual spring symposium is from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free for members and $10 otherwise, and it includes lunch. It’s a great way to get in touch with everything going on in the neighborhood.

Oak Cliff’s own Michael Martin Murphey performs two shows at the Kessler Theater Sunday.

The Texas Theatre shows Best Picture Oscar-winner “Moonlight” all weekend.

The second-Sunday jazz jam at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Oak Cliff is from 5-7 p.m. Sunday. Bring an instrument or sheet music and a beverage or snack and join in the singing and playing or just listen.
