We reported Monday that Brew Riot won’t take place this year, and when it returns in 2018, the festival likely will move out of the Bishop Arts District.

All hope is not lost for 2017, however. Go Oak Cliff is planning a new beer festival this spring called Brewhaha.

The details haven’t been worked out fully, but it’s set for May 22, and it will include a home-brew component. It won’t be in Oak Cliff, though. It’s at Four Corners’ new brewery at 1311 S. Ervay in the Cedars.

That means it’s still muy Oak Cliff considering that Go Oak Cliff is organizing, and Four Corners started in West Dallas and is named for the intersection of West Davis at Llewellyn. We’ll give you more information on Brewhaha as it becomes available.
