You can hear it during Top Ten Records’ Record Store Day party Saturday, April 22.

DJ Snake, who is from Oak Cliff, made the beat for the track and produced it with his partner Big Al, who also was from Oak Cliff.

From our 2015 interview with DJ Snake:

A lot of our parties were in Oak Cliff, so we were like, ‘Let’s make a song about Oak Cliff.’ I made the beat for ‘Oak Cliff’ on an SP 1200 drum machine. The side B was called ‘Snake Beats,’ and I did that on a different drum machine, a Sequential drum machine. I got that idea from this New York producer called Mantronix who used to play at Starck Club.

Find the whole interview with DJ Snake here. It reads like an episode of VH1’s “Behind the Music.”
