Shop owners in the Tyler/Davis district host a spring block walk from 6-10 p.m. Friday, with shopping, food trucks, a scavenger hunt and more.
Wordspace presents “Echoes and Reverberations: An Evening of Storytelling and Songwriters,” with Jeffrey Liles, aka DJ Cottonmouth Texas, who we once called “the most interesting man in Oak Cliff.” He will recount stories his many years on the Dallas music scene at the Kessler, 7 p.m. Friday.
Also at The Kessler, 10,000 Maniacs performs two shows Saturday.
The Texas Theatre screens “Cool Hand Luke” Saturday as part of the Dallas International Film Festival.
