The movie follows a Columbia University graduate who returns to Uganda to start a school for the orphans of people who have died from AIDS.

Photojournalist Debi Lang of Oak Cliff started the nonprofit Caring for the World Films in 2009 to cover “positive stories around the world the media had no interest in covering.”

The festival is June 30-July 3.
