Tattoo artist Deborah Pittman of V-Twin Tattoo Shop in Oak Cliff started a tattoo on Dallas Police Officer Lorne Ahrens last year.
The tattoo was a tribute to Aherns’ wife, Katrina, who is a DPD detective. Pittman never finished the tattoo because Ahrens, who she says was her friend, was killed in the July 7, 2016 ambush on police. But now she’s done quite a few memorial tattoos fro other DPD officers.
