Have ‘coffee with a cop’ at Norma’s Cafe

Norma’s Cafe and the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Police Department southwest operations hosts “coffee with a cop” from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4.

DART police will be on hand to answer questions about law enforcement, crime, transit and the DART system generally.

Coffee with a Cop is dedicated to encourage communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public. It began as part of National Community Policing Week in 2016 and now continues each year on the first Wednesday in October furthering efforts nationwide to bridge the gap between the community and the law.
