Google celebrated Tejano star Selena Quintanilla this week with a “doodle.”
Our neighborhood has a few connections to Selena. Country Burger restaurant pays tribute to her with pictures, posters, dolls and other memorabilia. And Faded Deejays honor her every year with a full day of parties.
But while she was alive, Selena also recorded a quickie video at Martin Weiss Park in Oak Cliff.
