Man shot during home-invasion robbery

An Oak Cliff man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg after masked robbers broke into his home this morning.

The incident was reported around 12:45 a.m. near Clarendon Drive and Franklin Street.

The man, who hasn’t been named, told police that he confronted the men at his front door. One of them shot him in the leg, he said, and ran away.

The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
