A string of four convenience store armed robberies started in our neighborhood Sunday morning.

Three young men demanded money at gunpoint at the 7-Eleven on Hampton at Jefferson at 12:20 a.m. A shot was fired in that robbery.

At 2:53 a.m., they robbed the Exxon station on South Hampton near Illinois. Shots were fired there too.

They then moved southeast to a Texaco near Loop 12 and U.S. Highway 175,where a shot was again fired.

Just 10 minutes later, at 4:40 a.m., they robbed a Marlow’s on 175.

No one was injured.

Police are searching for the three robbers, described as Latino males:

15-22 years old, skinny and wearing a navy blue Dallas Cowboys jacket with a hood,
17-25 years old, 5-foot-10 and wearing a black-and-green camouflage hoodie,
18-25 years old, 5-foot-8 and wearing a gray hoodie with stitching on the outside.

The suspects were driving a stolen 2014 silver Volkswagen Jetta with the Texas license plate HKM7641.

Crime Stoppers, 214.373.8477, will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to arrests and indictments in these cases.
