Tamika White
Someone shot and killed Tamika White one year ago today, while she was a passenger in a moving car on Marsalis Avenue.
White had met a man at at City Inn & Suites in Oak Cliff. A surveillance camera recorded White and the man there around 3 a.m. They walked through the courtyard and to the parking lot.
She got into the suspect’s vehicle, which appears to be a grey, early model Toyota Matrix with a sunroof. A few minutes later, she got out of that car and drove away with another person.
The Dallas Police Department says the suspect followed and caught up to them and, in the 1300 block of South Marsalis, shot into the car, killing White.
