First, the Texas Theatre will screen the 1997 biopic “Selena” at 7 p.m. Friday, March 30. That’s followed by an art show at Top Ten Records. Then Saturday is Selena Day at Country Burger from 2-6 p.m. They’ll have a Selena lookalike contest, a lowrider show and a pop-up market. That’s followed by a Selena-themed party from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. at Club Dada.

While you’re reminiscing about the Tejano queen, check out this 1987 video that the “Tejano Live” cable-access TV show shot with her at Martin Weiss Park in Oak Cliff.
