A developer could build a five-story apartment complex, plus shops and 20 townhomes on a 2.67-acre lot on West Davis.
The land is at 2211 W. Davis at North Oak Cliff Boulevard, adjacent to where David Weekley Homes is building 57 new homes.
GroundFloor Development, which purchased the land, is headed by former Oak Cliff resident Brandon Bolin, who left our neighborhood to pursue a music career in Austin six years ago. His company also developed two affordable housing complexes in Pinnacle Park and two more in McKinney. They also are working on St. Elmo Market, which is expected to open in Austin this summer.
