the art of neighboringOur February “What Gives” column spotlighted Body Oak Cliff, an ecumenical nonprofit with a mission to “connect, equip and mobilize” Christians to work for the common good in Oak Cliff.

Body Oak Cliff’s monthly “lunch & learn” sessions at the North Oak Cliff Library are free and offer neighbors insights on how to make Oak Cliff a better place.

This month’s edition is from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12. The topic is a book review of “The Art of Neighboring” by Jay Pathak and Dave Runyon. The book is based on a sermon that challenged people to get to know their neighbors — the people who live on their street or in their apartment complexes.
