One of the best taquerías in Dallas has closed. Los Torres served Sinaloa-style cuisine at the corner of Edgefield and Clarendon for three years. The Taco Trail reports that the owners couldn’t renegotiate their lease, and the manager was burned out. The Torres family has no plans to open another restaurant.

Los Torres is one of the restaurants named among Texas Monthly’s 10 best tacos in the Dallas area. Also on that list, compiled by Jose Ralat Maldonado of the Taco Trail, are the crispy tacos at Gonzales on West Jefferson, the tacos norteños at El Corazon de Tejas on West Davis at Beckley, the chuleta con queso taco at El Tizoncito on West Illiniois and tacos al vapor at Taco Rico No. 2 on West Clarendon.
