Last Call Lounge is the bar where police responded to fighting in late October. In that case, shots were fired and a man was taken to the hospital after being assaulted (no one was shot).

In today’s case, a fight happened in a nearby parking lot around 12:30 a.m. One person was taken to the hospital, and police told the Dallas Morning News that a suspect is in custody.

The bar’s manager, Efrain Cavazos, says patrons from his bar were not involved in this fight. The stabbing happened in a nearby parking lot, in the 200 block of Centre, that Cavazos says is not associated with his bar. Two off-duty Dallas police officers that Last Call hired for security were the first to respond to the stabbing. Cavazos says he saw the attacker and that person had not been in his bar previously. He says he doesn’t know who the victim of the stabbing is.
