Welcome to our second annual CliffDweller Magazine Best of the Cliff edition. We think the beginning of the holiday season is the perfect time to celebrate what makes our neighborhood so unique.

The Best of the Cliff highlights many of the restaurants and retailers that we’ve come to appreciate over the past year. We feature some newcomers and some old favorites, but most of all, we’ve given you a voice. Your overwhelming response to our online vote makes these awards a true testimony to the service provided by the winners. We appreciate your participation, and hope you find a new treasure or two in the following pages.

Also in this issue, we’ve brought you a special Thanksgiving recipe section. Several local CliffDwellers offer up their very own holiday specialties to include in your celebration this year. Try a new taste this year, and learn a little about some of your neighbors.

Not into turkey? No problem. We bring you a little twist this holiday season in our People feature, where we spotlight a newcomer to the neighborhood, the chef at Zen Sushi. Trade in your stuffing and pie for a few delectable sushi rolls, and leave the Thanksgiving blues behind you.
