Vote for Greiner Middle School to win $20,000 on New Year’s Day

I confess to not understanding quite how this promotion works, and I’ve been unable to get in touch with anyone who has authoritative information about it, but here’s the DMN has a story about Greiner Middle School’s chance to win $20,000 as part of the New Year’s Parade in downtown Dallas Thursday at 1 p.m. sponsored by Comerica Bank.
Apparently, people watching the parade will be able to vote for their favorite float, and if the Greiner entry wins, the school will receive $20,000 from Comerica. To check out the website where the voting will occur, go to Vote for the Float

You can catch the parade at 2:30 p.m. live on KDFW-TV (FOX 4) or on the station’s website. The station’s website also has a map of the parade route downtown if you want to check it out in person.

Thanks for posting the item about Greiner and the parade.
We are asking folks to vote for the entry that is named
“Save the Earth.” Since Greiner had 4 out of the 10 winners we do not want to compete among ourseves.

    We apprciate your support.

    Dan
